Food Entrepreneurship Speaker Series at Cornell

Dilmun Hill Student Farm is excited to present the Food Entrepreneurship speaker series! If you are interested in local food, business, and sustainability, then this series is for you! Join us to hear about the evolution of these enterprises and how they are influencing the local food movement in Ithaca. Each talk will be followed by a Q & A session.

Our presenters include the inspiring, local entrepreneurs behind Wide Awake Bakery, The Piggery, and Hopshire Brewing.

Free of charge – all are welcome! Refreshments will be provided.

The events are supported by the Cornell University Agricultural Experiment Station.

The Dilmun Hill Student Farm is a student-run organic farm that has been practicing sustainable agriculture on the Cornell campus for more than a decade, fostering community and empowering students through engagement in eco-friendly agriculture. Some of the farm’s educational offerings include hosting work parties where volunteers can work and experience sustainable agricultural practices. In addition to educational opportunities Dilmun runs a farm stand that offers organic fruits and vegetables from June through October to our campus community, as well as provides seasonal produce to the campus dining facilities.
